CSL Behring Products Now Available Through Smith Medical Partners

Smith Medical Partners distribution capabilities allows efficient and reliable access to leading plasma and blood factor products

WOOD DALE, Ill. – Smith Medical Partners is now an authorized distributor of CSL Behring coagulation factors. The following products are now available through Smith Medical Partners:

• Monoclate P
• Mononine
• Humate P
• Helixate F/S

These products are used for the treatment of Hemophilia. Hemophilia is an inherited bleeding disorder characterized by prolonged or spontaneous bleeding, especially into the muscles, joints or internal organs. Approximately 20,000 individuals in the United States have been diagnosed with hemophilia. The disease is caused by deficient or defective blood coagulation proteins known as factor VIII or factor IX. The most common form of the disease is hemophilia A, or classical hemophilia, in which the clotting factor VIII is either deficient or defective. Hemophilia B is characterized by deficient or defective factor IX.
